A four-part saga of a young woman's sexual awakening, and the power she attains with it. In part 2, the manipulative daughter in the family, begins an incestuous relationship with her father, who eventually becomes known to her mother. Mom begins to swallow pills as a means to cope with a nervous breakdown due to the fact that her own daughter kicked out the disgraced mom from her bedroom after she was caught having sex in the basement with their handyman, leads Nina for permanent residence in the pope's bed. Their incestuous relationships are represented as permanent. Nina's newfound sexuality prompts her to take on her mother's secret lover, which in turn creates more than a little tension around the house.
